2. Permitted website use

You may use this website to learn about Northbyte and make legitimate business inquiries. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its forms, servers, or connected systems.
• Submit false, unlawful, harmful, infringing, malicious, or misleading content.
• Use automated tools to overload, scrape, disrupt, probe, or interfere with the website.
• Copy or reuse our branding, content, designs, software, or mascot in a way that violates our rights or implies endorsement.

We may restrict access or take appropriate action when misuse, security risk, or unlawful activity is detected.

3. Inquiries, prices, and proposals

Submitting a form, requesting a meeting, or receiving an automated confirmation does not create a client relationship or require Northbyte to accept a project.

Public package information, sample deliverables, timelines, and prices are general offers for discussion and may be corrected or updated. Your project becomes binding only when the scope, price, timeline, responsibilities, and acceptance method are confirmed in an approved quotation, proposal, contract, or other written agreement.

If a project-specific agreement conflicts with these general website terms, the project-specific written agreement controls for that project.

4. Project delivery and client responsibilities

Exact deliverables, payment schedule, revisions, launch conditions, support period, and completion criteria will be stated in the accepted project document or written confirmation.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate requirements, timely decisions, approvals, lawful content, access, and materials needed for delivery. Delays in client inputs, third-party approvals, hosting, domain access, regulatory processing, or other dependencies may reasonably affect the timeline.

Changes outside the approved scope may require a revised timeline, additional fee, or separate quotation. A deliverable is considered accepted in the manner and period stated in the applicable project agreement.

5. Intellectual property

Northbyte retains ownership of its name, logos, Nori mascot, website content, reusable methods, pre-existing code, libraries, tools, templates, and know-how unless expressly agreed otherwise.

You retain responsibility for and rights to the materials you provide. You confirm that you have permission to use and provide those materials for the project.

Ownership or licensing of custom project deliverables will follow the accepted proposal or written agreement and, where applicable, completion of required payment. Third-party software, fonts, media, platforms, and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

6. Third-party services and external requirements

Domains, hosting, email, payment services, APIs, software subscriptions, regulatory agencies, and other third-party products or processes may have separate terms, fees, availability, review periods, and policies controlled by their providers.

Northbyte is not responsible for a third party’s outage, rejection, policy change, account suspension, delay, security incident, or service decision, but we will provide the support stated in the applicable project scope.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We aim to keep website information accurate and available, but the website and general content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, search ranking, sales results, regulatory approval, or a particular business outcome unless specifically stated in a signed agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northbyte will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising only from use of or inability to use this public website. Any project-related liability will be governed by the applicable written project agreement and mandatory law.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
